Conditional

Hello,

Are these sentences correct in conditional:

1) I can assure you that the prisoner would crack if you were to push him further. ('can assure' is present tense, so is the conditional okay here?)

2) If you do this, your children will be happy.
If that's how you do things, I am afraid we'll have to suffer.
If I do that, my life will be over.
(again, would or will in this conditional? I am assuming it is 'will' because it is in present tense)

Regards,

They are all correct. 1) The two verbs that govern each other in this sentence are would crack and were to push . The first verb can assure has nothing to do with the sequence of the other tenses.
