Condemnation v. conviction v. punishment v. sentence

I would like to ask about main nuances between the law words "condemnation", "conviction", "punishment" and "sentence".

Which of the following is correct and in the same meaning?

1.The conviction came as no surprise.
2.The condemnation came as no surprise.
3.The punishment came as no surprise.
4.The sentence came as no surprise.

I think this sentence would be used after a court.

Thank you.
