In conclusion, we believe that the minimum wage should not be raised in San Francisco. Raising minimum wage will have a negative impact on grocery stores, restaurants, and jobs in San Francisco. This is because it will put many people at risk of losing their jobs, and sometimes they will not even be able to afford the bare necessities of living. If the minimum wage rises managers will refuse to pay the workers higher wage and instead they will replace them with technology. Then family income will go down and there will be fewer jobs. Do you really want people to lose jobs just due to higher minimum wages? Can’t we just leave the work conditions instead of making them worse?
