Concern itself

Hi.
Why do you say, for example
A dynamic factor concerns itself with actual moves and threats and involves combinations of attack and defense maneuvers"

and not

A dynamic factor is about actual moves and threats and involves combinations of attack and defense maneuvers" ?

Why do you like to twist it?
Or is there any difference(of whatever size)
?
Thanks in advance

A concerns B sounds factual. A involves B. A relates to B.
