2. Was the train there?

3. Was he late?

Apparently most concept questions have yes/no answers?

I would not use a yes/no question all the time in my class unless the concept is extremely difficult or vague. You

Your questions are good.

Yes/no questions have the problem that with a random guess, there is a 50% chance of being right. On the other hand, they are simple to grade!

You might ask instead of #3:

Did he get on the train?
