Hi, a question: is it correct that "conceal" always refers to sth. while "hide" always refer to sb. ? Thanks.

Of course. They sometimes collocate differently (you cannot play 'Conceal & Seek'), and 'conceal' is more formal.

And you can be charged with carrying a concealed weapon (not hidden)
