Concatenating two sentences into one

Dear Tutors,Emotion: smile

I would like to concatenate two sentences into one.

Here are the two sentences:
"I hate physical discomfort. Of course, I hate pain even more."

"I hate" is in both sentences. Can I regroup both sentences by using it? For example "I hate physical discomfort, of course, pain even more?"

Thanks in advance,

It might be more effective if you replaced one 'hate':

"I dislike physical discomfort; but I hate pain."
