Computers are often argued to be the most important invention of the last hundred years. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement ?

Nowadays, as there has been a significant development in natural science, both scientists and engineers have come up with the computer which has been influencing the human lives. There are quite a large number of people considering computers as the most crucial device of the latest century whilst several people do not share the exact same opinion. As far as I am concerned, I strongly agree with the statement claiming that the computer is the most vital device of the last hundred years.

There are quite countless reasons to recognize this breakthrough of the twentieth century as the most crucial device. First and foremost, this magical device has made a major change in saving data because the ability of the database storage which this device consist of is infinite. Hence, people in the modern world tend to save the documentary in the cyber storage instead of on the paper in tradition. For instance, there is a university in Vietnam, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy particularly, have a main tendency to preserve their students’ information as well as their research on medicine field on the Internet which is the cyber storage.

Another point worth noticing is that this wonderful device has generated several methods in terms of communicating between individuals. For example, instant message and video call have been invented so that people can contact with the others regardless of geographical distance as well as the time difference. As the consequence, there has been a trend that home-working becomes more and more popular to a large number of wives having little infants

In conclusion, it is saved to recognize computer as the most crucial breakthrough of the world over a period of hundreds of years.
