Computer games are very popular for all ages and nationalities. Parents think that this has little educational value and it will be harmful to children. I partially disagree. I think that computer games are like any other tool; they have their benefits as well as their drawbacks.

on one hand, playing computer games improves brain speed and problem-solving skills. Researches suggested that playing computer games can help players process stimulators faster than those who do not play computer games frequently. For instance, when a player plays a game that requires him to overcome different obstacles in seconds, he has to think faster in order to pass the level successfully. With the variety of games' difficulty levels; certainly, there will be a positive impact on this side.

On the other hand, some computer games contain bad ideas that could have a big, negative impact on the children's minds, especially that children are different in the level of their awareness. Not so long ago, there was some news reported about two juveniles who broke into a house, stole guns, and opened fire on the police. The motive, apparently, was to mimic GTA game (Grand Theft Auto). This raises a red flag for those concerned about the importance of monitoring the content and ideas of such games.

In conclusion, computer games can be beneficial and positively effective for children when used modestly and correctly. In contrast, they can be harmful and negatively effective when they contain bad content that encourages children to commit violence and engage in illegal activities.
