Comprehensive win

Could you please explain to me what "comprehensive win" means in general?

I usually hear this phrase in sports commentary. Though I can presume it as "an easy win", I would like to know exact meaning of it.

Hi, I haven't heard this term. Your guess is probably rtght. Sports writers often use English in rather odd and unusual ways.
