Compound subjects and predicates

one senctence in my son's homework posed a problem and I would be grateful if someone can help.

Question: circle the action word or words in the sentence. Put a slash before the first action word. Place commas where they are needed. Decide if itis a compound subject or compound predicate.

Sentence: Running jumping and skipping are fun ways to exercise.
