compound sentence

Hello,

If I join two sentences using co-rrelative conjunction, then the resultant senetnce is a compound sentence.

e.g

He does well. He is nervous at the start.

I have to make a compound sentence, joining these two simple sentences.

a) He does well only he is nervous at the start.

b) He dose well but he is nervous at the start.

c)He dose well yet he is nervous at the start.

Which one is correct among the a/b/c?
