Compound and Complex Sentences/ Transitive Verbs

Hey. Can you please explain compound and complex sentences with examples? There are some sentences that seem like compound or complex but are actually simple. Please tell me how to identify these three sentences.

Another question that I have is of transitive and intransitive verbs. I know what they are but there is this sentence which confuses me.

" You got angry at your sister."

Is this transitive or intransitive?
