Compound Adjective

I have been trying to piece these together. Do you agree with the punctuation in each sentence below—and my explanatory notes below each for punctuating them in the manner I have done?

(1) The six-foot, two-inch, 235-pound juggernaut from South Carolina put on a stellar performance.
{Comma after inch to separate two adjectives before a noun.]

(2) The six-foot, two-inch 235-pounder from South Carolina put on a stellar performance.
{No comma after inch because a comma is not inserted between a compound adjective and a compound noun.}
