Allama Iqbal is one of the well known leaders of independence movement of subcontinent. His role in the independence movement against British imperialism is alive in the minds of those who are interested in the history of the movement. Nevertheless, besides studying and appreciating his role in the independence movement, it is the need of the time to appreciate, incorporate and benefit from his intellectual genius which we have in the form of his literary contribution. It expresses his great philosophy as a philosopher and reformer. This can help us with furthering the movement of the revival of the glorious period of Muslims. In XXX, one of the chapters of his Arabic master piece YYY, he recommends ways to minimise the controversy and teaches in the light of Shah Waliullah's philosophy to resolve controversial issues which exists among different schools of thought of Muslims through mutual understanding and tolerance rather than being prejudice and extremist.
