Foreword
I heartily thank my friend whom enablede to finish this dictionary in relatively very short time.
This dictionary is small in size but it is large in content in a way that could be called "Small Giant Dictionary".
The dictionary comprises all of the most common and contemporary words in daily life.
The dictionary is geared for students of intermediate, high school, imstitute levels and useful for university level. In addition it is very useful for English language students and a necessary tool for English speaking trying to function in the Arabic culture.
Necessity is the mother of invention. In my own experience of learning a new language , I have found haveing a dictionary in my native language would have helped me a great deal. Until now there is no pocket English-Arabic dictionary. This is the reason I worked so hard to develop such a dictionary.
The changing time in Iraq after the Gulf War II has brought the UN and many English speakers to Iraq, learning the language for them is difficult as they cannot express themselves without English-Arabic dictionary.
These were impetus for my work to write this dictionary.
