Could you please correct my mistakes in the following composition if there are?

The determined boy

Adam was 19 years old and was a student. He was in 12th grade. He lived in a village near a town. He was so polite and clever and his teachers loved him due to his good manners. He always got high marks in examinations. He had a close friend whose name was Peter. They always sat at the same desk. One day, he was captured with some of his friends. However, he was innocent. He was imprisoned for about thirty days and was convicted as a terrorist. After spending about 30 days in prison, he was released, but it was too late because he missed that year's study. He was not compensated for the injustice and falsely imprisonment because he lived in a country where there was no rule of law. Despite these obstacles, he didn't give up and he started sudying in the same grade in the following year, and took the final examinations and got an average degree 95 and was admitted in the college of medicine.
