Composition

I would like to know if the sentence below is an adequate topic sentence; that is, I would like to know if it's not too broad or too narrow.

Every time I go to the market, I make sure that I go to the produce department to get my favorite fruit--strawberries.

The sentence above will tell the reader that there are a number of reasons that I have for having strawberries as my favorite food. Hence, it is neither too broad or too narrow. What do you think?
