Please help me by pointing out the mistakes in this composition.

Life is a gift

When people count the blessings that life has given them, they do not seem to realize that life itself is a great gift. The thought that we are alive in the world which has many wonders is highly encouraging and motivating. Of all of these wonders, nature can be said as the greatest because one can never completely describe it; it is so beautiful. Another great gift that life has given is people. In the journey of life when we one moves from one stage to another, which William Shakespeare calls as Seven Ages, one comes across countless number of people; each is different from the other in one way or other. This in itself is a great wonder. Another facet of life that makes it wonderful is certain situations over which we do not have any control. Some of them make us happy, thrilled and even ecstatic while some leave us grief-stricken, shocked and disappointed.
