Composite and composition

Hi native speakers,

I pronounce composite as "k?m.p?.z?t" and composition as "k?m.p?'z??.?n". But honestly I don't know if I made the right pronunciations because a friend of me told me that composite should be pronounced as "k?m.p?.z?t".

Thanks.
