Thanks for answering. Yes I guess I did not post the question in a proper way but what you answered I am not sure if this would the answer as parts of speech would be different than components of basic grammar. It may be part of the answer but not the complete answer. So, the question is what the components of basic grammar are.I guess the answer would be phonology, morphology, syntax and semantic

I believe these elements would more accurately fall under the category of linguistics, not basic grammar.
