COmplicated sentences I'm having trouble with please help?

Could you please take a look at these sentences for me?

1 She saw an opening and decided to go through with her scam/scheme to get rich.
2 The director decided to shoot the film in order the audiences sees it and not in order that the event transpire. Because the director puts in alot of flashback.
3 She asked her brother lying on the bed to stretch out and look for a site on the computer. Instead of bring the computer closer to him he looked for the site stretch out/He was stretched out to look for the site.
4 A big breed dog is so much better than a small breed dog just like a duccatti is better than a vespa./ compared to/next to a duccatti a vespa looks ridiculous.
5 Speakeasies in the 20s and 30s were built on finding ways around alcohol regulations./tp find ways around... (what does BUILT ON mean?)
6 This line of work isn't conducive to having children and settling down.

alc24Could you please take a look at these sentences for me?

Reading your stuff over, I get the impression that you are testing your abilities in English by deliberately writing long sentences. Often what you write would be better in smaller pieces. Also, you command of English is often better than the internal logic logic of what you write. Perhaps you should spend more time thinking about how you writing works on a logical level.

2 The director decided to shoot the film in order the audiences sees it and not in order that the event transpire. Because the director puts in alot of flashback.

Films are often not shot in the order they are shown.You might say that after shooting the film the director decided to use a lot of flashbacks (from the previously shot footage), and did not present the events in the order that they transpired in real life. The "Because the director...," is not a sentence. (My use of "footage" may also be an antique term because the industry often does not use film any more)

3 She asked her brother lying on the bed to stretch out and look for a site on the computer. Instead of bring the computer closer to him he looked for the site stretch out/He was stretched out to look for the site.

The bits and pieces of language used here are almost all correct, but you mix up what she does and what he does. I find myself wondering if you could not fix this yourself if you just thought about it.

It would be better to say they were "set up to avoid alcohol regulations." (Avoid, as in you don't get arrested because the cop never sees you.) "finding ways around" usually means "bending the law," or finding legal "loopholes." It is being evasive, but perhaps not law breaking. Speakeasies were not a legal evasion, they were breaking the law.

Built on can be literal or figurative. The house was BUILT ON a sound footing. The banana industry in Honduras was BUILT ON a warm climate and fertile soil.
