Complicated Sentences

I am studing for TOEFL test. I feel difficulty in reading skill. Indeed, it is quite simple to read academic papers and texts but I really feel baffled when read complicated text with unfamiliar topics and too much advanced vocabularies. In addition, I think there are gramatical complexity in some materials make them exteremely hard to understand. This happens for me when I read some posts in the forums here.

How i could improve my reading skills?
