Complex sentences

how can you explain how you put a semi colon imbetween complex sentences? Emotion: smile

Top answer

You can put a semi-colon between simple sentences. You put a semi-colon between passages that would stand alone as full sentences. I actually would recommend against using a semi-colon between two complex sentences, each of which is certain to have at least a comma if not additional punctuation with it.
