I will watch while you sleep.

It's a complex sentence, am I right?

Thanks.

Hi Yes, that's good. A complex sentence has two parts. There is an independent clause which would be correct even on its own: - I will watch And then there is a subordinate clause which couldn't stand on it's own: - while you sleep If you put the two together, it is a complex sentence Dave

Hi

Yes, that's good. A complex sentence has two parts. There is an independent clause which would be correct even on its own:

- I will watch

And then there is a subordinate clause which couldn't stand on it's own:

- while you sleep

If you put the two together, it is a complex sentence
