Complex

Hello,

1. I realized the task was mammoth. The work began.

2. I went to several publishers. I did not find any takers.

I have to convert both sentences into a complex sentence using appropriate conjunctions.

1A. Although I realized the task was mammoth, the work began.

1B. I realized the task was mammoth in spite of the fact that the work began.

2A. Although I went to several publishers, I did not find any takers.
2b. Despite the fact that I went to several publishers, I did not find any takers.

Are these all correct?

Thanks.
