Complete the second sentence so that it has a similar meaning to the first sentence, using the word given. Do not change the word given. You must use between 2 and 5 words, including the word given.

We had a long discussin about the problem but we couldn't solve it.

My answer would be "We discussed in length about the problem but we coldn't solve it.

You cannot use "about" after the verb "to discuss" . To discuss means to talk about. I would say:- We discussed the problem at length but we couldn't solve it.

You cannot use "about" after the verb "to discuss" . To discuss means to talk about.

I would say:-
