Complement and attributive

what is the difference between an object complement and an attributive? or what is the difference between the function of 'modify a word/ phrase' and 'complete a word'?

here are some confusing cases:

eg 1. He is the man for this job. ('for this job', as an adjective PP, completes the meaning of 'man'? or is it an attributive?)

eg 2. He is the man killed by the car accident. ('killed by the car accident' should be a shortened form of the restrictive attributive clause?)
