Complaint log vs. complaints log

Would you say customer complaint log or customer complaints log? I know the "s" is usually omitted when the noun is used as an adjective (guest list) but that there are exceptions and instances when both are acceptable. I would use "complaints"; but although I recoiled at "fans club" when I first heard it, now it sounds almost as natural as "fan club."

I think both are fine in this instance: both sound quite natural to me. On the other hand, 'fans club' certainly does not.

Thanks. Unfortunately fans club is becoming common where I live.
