Complaint letter

Hello,

I'm trying to write a complaint letter

Would you please review my 1st attempt.

You recently spent the night at an expensive hotel. There was a problem with your
room, but the hotel staff was unable to do anything about it.
Write a letter to the hotel manager. In your letter
• describe the problem.
• explain what happened when you asked the hotel staff for help.
• say what you would like the manager to do.


Dear Sir,Madam


I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction about the poor quality of service provided at your hotel during my stay last week,

When I have reached my hotel room after a long day at the conference I was attending , I noticed the AC wasn’t working , therefore the room’s temperature was very high , I couldn’t concenrate on my work or even sleep, that when I called your staff to send sometone to fix the issue , unfortunatly the AC technician was not available, Then I asked your staff to give me another room , they deckined saying It’s not part of their policy to change the room after booking,

Would you please review my request , I propose a 30% refund of the total amount paid for the night , also I would like to receive an apology.
