Compedium

Hi,
Can you, please, help me decide on which version is better. Thank you in advance.

It is possible to put together a compedium of useful advice/tips from experienced negotiators on how to negotiate with various types of clients and how to behave in certain, frequently awkward/unpleasant/uncomfortable situations/circumstances.

Top answer

"tips" is a more informal word for bite-sized pieces of advice, while "advice" sounds like something more formal and weighty. Both are possible, but "advice" may fit better here. In the second case, a reasonable general-purpose choice would be "awkward situations".
