Comparisons

Im having trouble with comparisions if you could help me understand these following sentences and which are right

1 In 2 days (the weekend) I sleep more than half the amount i sleep in 5 days (the week)

I sleep more than half the amount in 2 days than/that in 5 days (is it THAN or THAT cause 2 THANS sounds weird)
2 i sleep a little less than 2 times as much on the weekend as i do during the week
3 i sleep a little more than 2 times the amount in 2 days than/that i do in 5 days (i'd go with THAT since if you put THAN then there are two THANs) but im not sure
4 i slept a little more than 2 times the amount that i usually sleep

thank you

alc, these are all pretty rough on the ear. Over the course of the weekend, I get about one-third of my sleep for the entire week. I get about half as much sleep over the weekend as I do the other five days of the week put together.

alc, I'm sorry, but these sentences are so odd!

It's so hard to tell whether you mean what you do on one night of the weekend compared to one night of the other five, or the other five together, or ... what.

Let's say you usually sleep 6 hours a night on weeknights. That's 30 hours for the five days. Half of that is 15, so more than half of that is 16, or 8 hours each night on t

there is something i don't get, let me explain

you can say "I make more than you in 2 day than you do in 5 days" meaning you can say "In 2 days i make more than you do in 5 day"

"In 2 days I sleep more than half the amount THAT i sleep in 5 day during the week"

structure wise this must be correct and as you can see its a THAT and not a THAN

now if you turn it
