Comparing two things and THAN IF

how does the comparing work, in the below sentences you're comparing different things

do both comparing structures work

1 you care less about your family than your job (here you're comparing 2 things )
2 you care less about your work than i do about my work/you care less about your work than i do about your work (here you're comparing one thing 2 people)
3 you feel more at home than i do /you feel more at home here than there

for this following one

4 i care more about you than him (i care more about you than i care about him) that's what this means right

4 I care more about you than he does ( i care more about you than he does about you) thats a totally different meaning right??

can someonje also tell me if the following are correct please

1 I'd be drunker if i drank 3 pints than if i drank 3 shots
2 It could take 2 days just as it could take weeks , we don't know
3 The water will be as cold if you leave it in the fridge for 2 hours as if you leave it for 4 hours.
4 I've had enough adrenaline for one day

5 You can do what you are doing at home here at my house

6 She paid thousands in/on bills

7 When you're in the back seat you think the car is going faster than if you're in the front seat
