Comparing two things

Which one is right?

I am as fast as a horse or I am fast as a horse.

Please help me , very quicky...

I am as fast as a horse = I am very fast.
I am fast like a horse = I am very fast.
I am fast as a horse = You don't need a horse, if you have me. Jump on my back, I'm very fast.

That's the way I would interpret them.

I am as fast as a horse or I am fast as a horse.

I think it's correct to optionally omit the first "as."

It would be the same as saying, "I am fast like a horse."
