Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books is not an easy task because both have benefits and drawbacks. In this essay, arranging all topics in good order, being easy to find sources, and covering complicated topics are considered. To begin with, writers generally try to organize topics step by step, discouraging readers’ understandings. In other words, we can capture overviews of books easily. In physics, we can learn conceptual knowledge from reading faster than doing experiments. Next, everybody does not have a chance to experience a real situation, but books are sources of knowledge which are easy to find as well as inexpensive. As the internet grows up, electronic books gain much popularity on the grounds of convenience and cheapness. For instance, we have downloaded several books from the internet. By doing so, we can bring our books everywhere, just put them in our tablet computers. Last, knowledge gained from experience covers complicated topics because theories sometimes have an exception. Hence, practice might be the best way to study those exceptions. In conclusion, knowledge gained from books is a basic foundation. We must fulfill our knowledge by first-hand or hands-on experience.
