Compare kathmandu and ulaanbaatar
Kathmandu and Ulaanbaatar are capital cities of Nepal and Mongolia respectively while Kathmandu is located in Himalaya mountain range ,Ulaanbaater is in central Asian plateau .An area with only 50square kilometers covers Nepalese capital whereas Mongolian capital is much bigger 4,700 square kilometers for its land size.This report will compare numerous aspects of these two capitals,It will focus on climate ,population and transportaion.
Kathmandu and Ulaanbaatar have disparity climates . Kathmandu has a warm temperature climate while Ulaanbaatar is cold and dry .Both the cities have two distinct seasons: summer and winter.However,the climate in each season of each city is quite different .However the climate in each season of each city is quite different .Whereas Kathmandu has a warm temperature summer ,Ulaabaatar has short and warm .In addition ,the climate of Kathmandu is mid and always cold at night while Ulaabaatar suffers from a long ,very cold and dry winter .The temperatue in Kathmandu usually ranges from three degrees Celsius to twenty-nine degrees Celsius while it ranges from minus twenty-five degrees Celsius to twenty-five degrees Celsius in Ulaanbaatar.Therefore ,the weather in Kathmandu is much warmer than it in Ulaanbaatar ,that makes the rainfall in Kathmandu six times as much as the rainfall in Ulaanbaatar .
There are similarities and differences in the population of two cities .The population of both cities is similar .Besides,there is a total difference on the ethnic composition because people in Kathmandu are all of native Nepalese while Mongol is 95% and non-Mongol is 5% of the population in Ulaanbaatar ,including Kazakhs,Russians,and Chinese .Also ,the density of Kathmandu is much higher than the density of Ulaanbaatar.
The most noticeable similarity of the cities is transportation.Neither Kathmandu nor Ulaanbaatar has train,trams or any underground railways.All of the people in there use buses and taxies as their public transportation ,special people in Ulaanbaatar can to go Russia or China by trains
