Nowadays, by conducting a variety of researches, people found that there are many distinctions between GM food and natural food, which the buyers should take it into consideration. Certainly, GM crops take on much significance when compared with conventional food. Firstly, not only are GM products able to resist pests, diseases, environmental conditions but they also can be resistant to chemical treatments, while natural cannot have the ability to do that. Herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers are known as the contaminants making a direct detrimental contribution to the environment; therefore, GM crops will provide more productivity than natural crops due to their resistance. Another way in which GM produce is better is in the survival from the harsh condition. They are believed to easily adapt to unfavorable conditions such as drought and frost but still be able to produce higher yields, whereas conventional plants can easily die owing to a severe state. Thus, GM products can meet the demand of consumers in case overpopulation is increasing in an unpredictable way. GM plants, however, might probably create super-weeds and super insects and destroy ecological diversity. Indeed, serious the problem may be, they possibly bring negative effects on human's health. Contrary to GM food, natural food bears minor impacts because of using the traditional farming method. In conclusion, whether GM food is much better than natural food or not is still a disputed problem until now.
