Comparatives and Superlatives

We were supposed to write several sentences describing a recent interaction with a friend or family member about personal finance or credit cards. My scenario was talkng to my parents about getting a credit card that freshmen get in college and the pros and cons of it. However, the second part of my assignment says "Compare the event to one or more similar events. When comparing, use at least three comparatives and three superlatives."

Can someone give me an example of this?

I guess I don't understand what I'm supposed to be comparing my scenario to. Suggestions/ideas?

Hey, You don`t need to compare your scenario to anything, but the event. You can use something like this: "This ( convincing my parents ) was harder than when I asked for a bike, although to my mind, a credit card is less dangerous than a two wheel vehicle! I told my parents that credit cards should be the least troublesome items to own, but they were most conceited (elative) about it and just started laughing at me as if I didn`t have the smallest idea what I was talking about.
