Comparative + that clause

Are these sentences correct:

1-I am looking for a smaller shirt than the yellow T-shirt that will fit me tightly.
2-I am looking for something smaller than the yellow T-shirt that will fit me tightly.
(The smaller shirt is supposed to "fit me tightly')

3-I need a more knowledgeable teacher than John who can explain this problem to me.
4-I need someone more knowledgeable than John who can explain this problem to me.
(The more knowledgeable teacher is supposed to be able to explain this problem to me.)
