Comparative and Superlative

Hi, I'm taking the SAT soon, and I was wondering, if I get a sentence:
She is one of the faster runners.
Should I change it to:
She is one of the fastest runners.

So, "one of the faster" or "one of the fastest"?

Thanks a bunch.

Hi, We certainly say both, and I wouldn't say either is wrong. If you are worried about the logic of 'one of the fastest', certainly nobody could argue with 'one of the faster'. Clive
