Company Tag Line

A possible company tag line is, 'Quality driven, lead time focused.' It seems very wrong to me, ending with a verb. I also wonder if it needs a hyphen; '...lead-time focused'. I'm also questioning if it should be 'focus' rather than 'focused'? The company is known for filling orders immediately, no-wait time, which they call 'lead time' in their industry.

Any help would be appreciated. Side bar: My husband runs said company and came up with the tag. He asked my opinion. I ask now for your opinion. Thank you.

Emily Russell Quality driven, lead time focused. Both 'driven' and 'focused' are past participles. That provides parallelism, which is a good thing, so I would not change those.

  • Emily Russell Quality driven, lead time focused.

  • Nothing I've found online suggests that "lead time" should be hyphenated.
  • I don't have a good grasp of what "lead time" is, but I assume the audience for this tag will know, so I can't complain about that.
