commuting

Have you ever thought of what you could do with the time you spend in traffic daily? On average, a driver spends 2 hours a day in traffic in major cities. How many hours is lost each year to traffic? You do the math. No wonder more and more people are working during commuting.

Please check for correctness and understandability.
Thanks.

Do you see how this sounds like ever driver spends 2 hours in traffic in cities? You need to make sure that "in cities" modifies the drivers.

Otherwise, change "daily" to "each day," "hours" requires the plural verb, and change the last bit to "working during their commute."

You are right.
Grammar Geek change "daily" to "each day,"
GG, I thought they were interchangeable. How does daily sound to you?

I prefer daily to come before the noun. My daily commute. My daily routine.
