'common ground' or 'common grounds'

Please tell me will I use the singular or plural of 'common ground' having in mind that I mean 'points in common'.

Both managers have lots of common ground.

or

Both managers have lots of common grounds.

Hi, Use the former. I wouldn't say 'both', since that idea is already implicit in the term 'common ground'. Clive
