commmunicator and interlocutor

Hello, I've got a question.

Is there any difference between "communicator (person)" and "interlocutor"?

Thank you in advance for clarification.

Top answer

They seem unrelated to me. An interlocutor is a participant in a dialogue; a communicator is one who is employed in or adept at communication.
