Finally I went outside the back yard to pick up pebbles to thrash at the birds. All of them flew away. Their eggs dropped to floor in front of me. I said what had I done. I wished I had not committed such foul act. I've carried the guilt with me since that day.

Yes, I missed the articles. Thank you for the correction. I think the comma is optional after finally because it is such a short (one-word) phrase.

Aside from the weird idea of eggs dropping--

I would think, if you are outside throwing pebbles at birds, their eggs would drop to the ground, not the floor.

(You might also have written 'fowl act'.)
