Does the highlighted "commissions" mean "commissioned sculptures", "commissioning programs", or simply "sections"? I think it means "commissioning programs" (i.e. the programs that commissioned artists to make sculptures in the previous events were still active in the latest event)

Skulptur Projekte, on the other hand, presupposes the commissioning and siting all over the city of artworks from a range of renowned and emerging artists. So, whilst the curatorial aim is still to claim international art world importance, it is also broadly to open out and engage the city of Munster as a whole in an experience of art. Initially involving but a handful of artists – amongst others from 1977: Donald Judd, Claes Oldenburg and Joseph Beuys – the decennial class of 2007 totalled 33. In addition, many commissions from previous decades were still in place, and were therefore incorporated into the official mapping of this latest event.
