Is it possible for a native commentator to make mistakes speaking, could you tell me if you think what he said is even formal or just wrong?

Is it possible for a native commentator to make mistakes speaking,Yes. Sports commentators are well known for poor grammar. And all native speakers sometimes produce clumsy English, particularly when speaking.

Do you think that every native speaker always produces perfect English.

Does every native spealer of your native language speak it perfectly?

or just wrong? It's clumsy, but OK as casual spoken English.
