Would somebody please help me with my sentences.

1) In the US, in 1999, X et al. (13) evaluated statements made by pharmaceutical representatives during 13 presentations and found that 15% of 100 statements made by sales representatives in their presentations were inaccurate and provided favourable impression towards the promoted drug.

2) They found that adverse effects were mentioned in 27% of the presentations and contraindications were not mentioned, and use in pregnancy was only mentioned on one occasion.
