Commas used correctly?

Hi. Please help. Are the commas used correctly? For numbers 1 and 2, could we not have commas there? Thank you for your help in advance.

1. It is written figuratively, the trees representing the people, and the animals, the enemies.
2. The trees represent the people, and the animals, the enemies.
3.He went around the neighborhood shouting, "Don't go outside, stay inside."
