Commas in wrong places

Hi, could you please let me know where I must put commas in these sentences:

1) Just then, spontaneously, nearby our heroes’ feet the leaves began to move.

and

2) As Jennifer and her brother, through joint effort of friendship, advanced toward the river, they heard a pleasant melody being played by its edge.

I'm not sure if I have them in the right places.

Thanks

Also I'm wondering if there needs to be a comma after "feet" in this sentence.

Just then, spontaneously, near our heroes’ feet the leaves began to move.

Thanks.
